Occasional babysitter wanted - Nunhead Green

Hi

We're looking for an occasional evening babysitter to mind our 1 yo, and we're based just off Nunhead Green.

It's rare but not impossible that she would wake up while you're here, so we'd like the sitter to come over quite early and meet her before she goes to bed, just in case (of course we would pay for your time).

We'd like someone who either works in a childcare field, and / or has good babysitting experience and can provide references. We don't have any particular dates in mind at present, but we'd really just like to be able to go out e.g. for dinner from time to time, so we can work around your availability.

Please pm if interested.

(Apologies for creating a post for this, I hope it's allowed - I have pm'd a few people who have advertised their babysitting services before but had no replies. Mods pls feel free to remove if needed)

Hello!! I am Martha, Spanish 36 years old girl.

I arrived to London in June to work as Au Pair with my friends to help

nurturing their 2,5 years old child.

I am very happy with the experience. That I

know from children is more about help than work,

basically with my nephews and friends' kids and

in so many social activities with kids as well.

As Au Pair, I have enough free time and I feel very confortable

with babies so I've decided to look and extra job in this area.

So, I am available for some babysitting in weekends, evenings or nights..just let me know,

and if you want to know anything else about me, just ask me.

For the references, I could send you a

letter from my "boss-friend" or talking to her by phone.

my phone number: 07706216811

my email: [email protected]

thanks!!

    • Good timing. I've just posted this review: https://open.substack.com/pub/eatsdulwich/p/restaurant-review-sweet-dreams?r=8oe6m&utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=web&showWelcomeOnShare=true
    • recently moved to East Dulwich, Have tried Hong Hong but that's it, whats the best chinese??
    • I would suggest ED, particularly the top ends of Upland and Friern Road, where the two roads meet. It's a no through road so basically makes it semi-private with no through traffic other than cyclists. The gardens are larger than your typical ED gardens, you are 1 minute to Peckham Rye park which is a great outside space with 2 great playgrounds and a decent coffee shop, plus the frequent busses up/down Rye Lane (12,197, 63 and 363) can get you to Peckham station in less than 10mins. On top of that you are only 5-7mins walk from Lordship Lane and all that has to offer, plus can easily get to Peckham for its fantastic restaurants (the best in South London) and bars.  You can get to the Dulwich schools driving or on the P13 bus at the end of the road. Or if it's nice weather, walk/bus up Barry Road and then a quick stroll through Dulwich Park.  You probably wouldn't need to pay your top budget either! But could do if you got one of the villas on Rye Lane itself.
