Filming revelations from the landmark BBC One David Attenborough series by Huw Cordey

The Hunt is a series with real-life, edge-of-the-seat drama. But it?s not about killing. It?s an outstanding production about the sophisticated relationships between predators and prey. And The Hunt?s state-of-the-art technology has revealed more about some of these relationships than even the scientists knew. You will hear about filming breakthroughs, personal dramas, scientific discoveries and aerial revelations, and be shown special clips from behind the scenes. Characters appearing on screen include Arctic Wolves, aerobatic Caracals, and giant Blue Whales. This will be an eye-opening presentation.

Huw Cordey joined the BBC's Natural History Unit in 1995 and worked on long-running series like Wildlife on One, Land of the Tiger, Andes to Amazon, and Sir David Attenborough?s Life of Mammals. He was part of the Planet Earth team, and produced three episodes for this hugely popular and multi-award-winning series. Following Planet Earth, he was appointed Series Producer of South Pacific, a six-part landmark series for BBC2. In 2009 he moved to Silverback Films and was Series Producer for North America ? Discovery Channel?s first foray into natural history programming. He recently worked on the blue-chip BBC series The Hunt and is currently working on another major BBC series, as well as making a programme on Jungles for Netflix.

All proceeds to Ganet?s Adventure School in Malawi and Pupil Support Fund.

The talk will last 75 minutes without interval.

Adult ticket includes free entry to the Holly Fair.

Tickets ?5 for under 18s and ?10 for adults

    • If you "cotton on" and read the council announcement, it clearly states "The library will be closed from 17 November until late June or early July 2026."  https://www.southwark.gov.uk/2025/dulwich-library-closing-refurbishment
    • I’ve been seeing Lisa at goose green clinic for energy work for a year now.  Lisa is kind, caring and hugely supportive. She is wonderfully masterful and trained as a reiki master for 20 plus years. Alongside other energy work.  My time spent with her is like therapy. An emotional safe space for deep conversations and reflection followed by relaxing and energising healing work.  each experience I’ve had has been different, the end result remains the same. Feel lighter, almost euphoric and almost float home. Definitely an experience not to be missed.  https://www.goosegreenclinic.net/therapies/healing-energy-work/
    • Went there once and were not impressed when they charged £9 for one pot of Chinese tea for 2 people.
