Ask about book swap stand in Peckham Park cafe?

Actually never did work out if you just swapped, which I did, or paid a ? at counter which I did if hadn't anything to swap.

Was disappointed to see that the new owners have done away with the stand, and when a few weeks ago I suggested bring it back but this time with a local charity collection box for us to put a ? or so in the owner said that he would consider it.He obviously decided against the stand as it is still not there.

I am wondering/hoping /asking those of that frequent the cafe and think a book stands is a good idea will ask when it is coming back. Pretty please.

  There was a Saturday afternoon crowd of enthusiasts, and at other times the owner might have been off acquiring stock. He also repaired air guns, which he also sold. He stocked edged weapons, uniforms, including antique uniforms, air guns and ammo and starting pistols and shot. Some medals and other militaria. Quite a lot of ex service chit chat on a Saturday. I had an amateur interest, didn't deal a lot, in English pattern swords and other mainly 19th century militaria. And made some good purchases there. I'm afraid WWII and later events was the major focus of most of the regulars.
