WANTED: Nanny/ nanny share in SW2

Recommended Posts

Hello, we are looking for a warm, energetic, kind, fun and responsible person to look after our two boys for 3 days a week from the start of February 2016. By then our boys will be 4 and 2 years.

Our current nanny is leaving us to move away from London. She brings her baby son with her to work so we would be happy to have a similar arrangement or a nanny share.

The position is for a sole-charge nanny. It involves entertaining and taking care of the kids and some light housekeeping duties.

The hours are Tuesday to Thursday ? 8.45am until 6pm.

Our eldest is at Effra nursery from 9.15am to 3.15pm on Tuesday & Thursday and Wednesday mornings during term time. The job would therefore involve drop off and pick up.

We are looking for someone with good English, at least one year of childcare experience and checkable, recent references. They must be willing to undergo a CRB check and attend a personal interview in London. The job starts on 31 January but would require some time for settling in before then.

Ofsted registration will be necessary so we can pay with childcare vouchers.

If the job interests you, please send us a CV, and an e-mail telling us about yourself.

Many thanks

Lucy

    • Absolutely gutted to hear that Dell Autos in Hansler Road is closing tomorrow. They have MOTed my ancient 1998 Micra for years, and have always been brilliant. Wishing them all the best of luck in their retirement. Wishing all their customers (including me) luck in finding another garage as honest, helpful, efficient and friendly as they were.

    • Crikey. I need a lie down in a darkened room after reading that. And I've only just got up 🤣 Well said, though (apart from the annoying use of "woke").
