Hi

Just thought I should mention that the entrance to the Bumps and Babes group at St John's is actually on Sylvan Road - the church is very big with about 3 entrances around the car park. The Bumps and Babes group will be held where the St John's preschool is - towards the back of the outside of the church, if you're standing facing it.

Thanks!

! NEW START TIME FOR BUMPS & BABES GROUP - NOW 1.45PM !

Apologies all, but the pre-school that occupies the hall now doesn't finish until 1.30pm and so I've been asked to start the group at 1.45pm. Just found out today.

Everyone is welcome, you don't have to be a member of the NCT to come along :)

    • Welcome back. What have voting intentions got to do with this thread? And much as you may hate the present incarnation of so-called Labour, as do I,  I don't think it is true that they have "not done a single positive thing for working class people", is it? And how exactly are you defining "working class people", anyway?
    • I can’t bear the media “is this racist comment racist” angle taken to reporting it. I feel like she’s a useful out rider for Farage to test how far they can take their rhetoric - it’s not the first time she’s said things that cross over the line. Overt racism is becoming far more commonplace and it’s deeply concerning.
    • Dear families,  I am exploring the idea of starting a casual, low cost Mandarin club for children in the area. This would be a fun,play-based introduction to the language and culture for young learners. Before I organize anything,  I wanted to see if there is any interest! If you might be interested, could you please reply to this post or PM with  1. Your child’s age.  2.What kind of format you’d prefer( A. weekly playgroup, B after-school club,  C. weekend session) Even a simple”interested!”  helps. This is just a preliminary survey.  No commitment.
    • what's the point of this thread - is there some accusation that the sermon is out of order in some way?
