Pregnant? Wanting an enjoyable pregnancy and positive birth experience?

Recommended Posts

Hi there,

If you are due early-mid 2017, I?d love you join one of our Hypnobirthing Place classes in the new year.

I teach a unique combination of hypnobirthing, mindfulness and NLP. You?ll discover ways to make hypnobirthing work best for you, whether you plan to give birth at home, in a birth centre or labour ward.

This is about equipping you with the information you need to make informed decisions about your birth. You?ll let go of any fears or limiting beliefs that might inhibit labour and focus on helping your mind and body work together for a positive and empowering experience.

After the course finishes, you can make hypnobirthing your own - taking away relaxations and simple techniques to practice with your partner?. simple things that can make a big difference to your pregnancy, birth and life with a newborn.

There are various hypnobirthing packages to suit your needs and I aim to keep my prices affordable, whilst donating 10% of every course fee to charities supporting safe births.

COURSE INFO

You can find lots of info on www.hypnobirthingplace.com but for now:

- Group classes split over two weekends at Bellenden Therapy Rooms

- Private classes taught in your home during the week or over 3-4 evenings

- Refresher classes for those who have already done hypnobirthing. I teach the Katherine Graves method but have experience teaching refreshers for couples who have used other methods ? they are all complementary.

TESTIMONIALS

You can find testimonials on EDF and on my website. Here are a few examples:

My husband and I completed a course at the beginning of June for our Sept due date and found the course not only informative on a practical level but it also dispelled a lot of our fears about the birth. Zoe helped shift our mindset and outlook completely, providing us with some great tools to help in labour (and in general times of stress!). We've had a few people comment on it being very 'new age' but hypno birthing is actually very logical when you learn about the natural hormones in the body and coping mechanisms to help the process. Thanks to Zoe's course not only do I feel more positive about the birth (a massive step as fear was my dominant emotion previously) but my husband feels more confident in his role too, understanding where he can be a support.?

For anyone considering hyno-birthing, I couldn't recommend Zoe's course enough.

We had a refresher course with Zoe - she is amazing! So down to earth and practical. I'd been having really anxious thoughts and dreams but the exercises I did with Zoe have really helped. I feel like I'm in a much better place. If anyone is on the fence about hypnobirthing, I can honestly say that however you are feeling about birth and parenthood, doing a course with Zoe will make you feel better.

Totally recommend you do this course if pregnant! It was amazing. I had a stressful birth with my first child and I was so worried my second experience could only be the same. Not so! With the tools Zoe gave us we coped beautifully and our boy was born at home with no pain relief at all in just a few hours. A stark contrast to the 3 day affair first time round!?

Zoe gave us so many techniques for coping - with pain and stress. They all worked so well for us. Even my husband was amazed at how effective it was. I remained in the zone throughout my labour and delivery and was able to start with my newborn in a great frame of mind !?

Zoe is a great teacher - really warm, engaging and genuinely interested in working with you on your individual needs and concerns.?

Please do this course ! You will not regret it I promise! It's worth twice the price ...

    • Rant ahead: You're not one of them but unfortunately, there's a substrate of posters here that do very little except moan and come up with weird conspiracy theories. They're immediately highly critical of just about any change, and their initial assumption is that everyone else is a total fucking contemptible idiot. For example: don't you think that the people who run the libraries will have considered the impact of timing of reconstruction on library users? (In fact, we know they have - because they've made arrangements at other libraries to attempt to mitigate the disruption). After all, these are the people that spend their whole working week thinking about libraries and dealing with library users (and the kids especially). You don't go into the library game for the chicks and fame - so it's fair to assume that librarians are committed to public service and public access to libraries, including by kids. Likewise the built environment people (engineers, architects, construction managers, project managers, construction contractors, subcontractors or whoever is on this job) are told to minimise disruption on every job they do. The thing that occurs to us as amateurs within 30 seconds of us seeing something is probably not something a full time professional hasn't thought about! Southwark Council, the NHS, TfL, Dulwich Estate, Thames Water, Openreach - they're not SPECTRE factories filled with malevolent chaosmongers trying to persecute anyone. They're mostly filled with people who understand their job and try to do their best with what they've been given - just like all of us. Nobody is perfect or immune from challenge, and that's fair enough, but why not at least start from the assumption that there's a good reason why things have been done the way they have? Any normal person would be pleased that their busy, pretty, lively local library is getting refurbished, and will have more space and facilities for kids and teens, and will be more efficient to run and warmer in winter. But no, EDT_Forumite_752 had kids who did an exam 20 years ago, and this makes them an expert on library refurbishment who can see it's all just stuff and nonsense for the green agenda and why can't it all be put off... 😡😡😡
    • I completely misread the previous post, sorry. For some reason I thought the mini cooper was also a police vehicle, DUH.
    • This has given me ideas for the ginger wine I love, that no one else likes!
