My daughter will be going to school in Sept 2011 and I need advice on which school to apply for and how to prioritise. I live on Upland Road and am nearest to Goodrich yet when I tried to get my daughter into the nursery there, my daughter was in the hundreds on the waiting list. Now life is getting a little more serious with Primary school decisions...

I have visited Heber and Goodrich and thought they were both great yet I am not a teacher, nor do I have any experience of kids at these schools so I was hoping that there were some parents with experience who can advise at these schools or others in the local area?

Thanks

Claire Louise

Apply to Goodrich if you're closest. There are more spaces for reception anyway than in nursery.

You are likely to have most chance with your closest community school, I don't think Heber admits anyone who falls into the category below (straigh distance)

You can ask Southwark what distance they strectched to for non siblings at Goodrich this year.

    • Another recommendation for Niko. Great communication, top guy, and super reliable and skilled - all at a fair price. Takes a lot of care in what he does and talks you through everything.
    • Some foxes are very tame. The foxes that live near the electricity sub-station thing on the corner of Calton and Woodwarde will happily walk up to you/passed you. They are some of the best looking foxes around so clearly being well-fed - glorious coats and bushy tails but interested in humans and keen to engage/be fed rather than being scared.
