Hello

We have to drive to Redhill on Thursday morning, probably during the rush-hour. Not a journey we would normally do. Any advice on worst/best routes etc. gratefully received. Thanks.

PS. Before anyone starts, it's just a bit too far for two people and a dog to cycle!

I always just go the straightest route through Crystal Palace, Croydon, Purley and Merstham. We've tried various back roads but it never seems to make much difference. It takes exactly an hour on a Sunday but I'd leave an extra half-hour (at least) for a weekday rush hour as it gets very snarled up around Merstham and going into Redhill. But the schools will have broken up by then so it shouldn't be quite as bad as normal. Good luck!

    • Hello.   Thanks Nigel and Hparker 😀   I've got new slots available for new students looking for a piano teacher or guitar teacher.   You could start in the new term beginning September, or I'm also available adhoc-styles through the summer holidays at times.   I teach all ages, in most styles, in lots of different ways according to how you learn/like to learn.   Give me a call or text on 07730 402336.   I have connections to lots of performance opportunities/networks too.   I run regular events /student concerts, and play in bands/perform.   Natalie.
    • So do I, but I think they are in trouble as well.  Anyway, that space wouldn't be big enough.
    • I'm not talking about Starmer. I was responding to a post which  said that  Corbyn was unelectable. How people voted in the "more hotly contested election" is irrelevant. Corbyn wasn't leading the Labour Party then. Starmer was. And the turnout for Labour reflects that.
