Volunteer PR assistance needed for charity

Recommended Posts

We are a small registered charity and I am the founder and need some help. If someone has a spare day available or more to email local businesses, Sydenham Dulwich and Forest Hill, Southwark to generate raffle donations or be involved in art exhibition at Menier Gallery near London Bridge actual exhibition is May but much is to be done beforehand.

We are putting a Art Exhibition on at Menier Gallery, London Bridge to address mental health issues so that young people can discuss more openly the issues that cause them anxiety. We are working with 12 schools in the diocese of Southwark using art and narrative to exhibit.

This project was inspired by a film about under the radar bullying in primary schools working with Goldsmiths University and Professor Rosalind George.

This inspired exhibition Elephant in the Room. The silence that surrounds bullying also causes silence around issues universally whether it be disability, poverty, domestic violence, eating disorders, suicide, death, loneliness etc all these and many more have an impact on young people and their mental health.

Ideas welcome. We will also be auctioning art work as leading and emerging artists are headlining the exhibition.

Can work from home.

    • So fickle @malumbu for someone who screams out about caring for the environment. Try and keep your story straight and not get diverted by things you secretly enjot is my best advice.
    • Hello... My aunt is coming over from Spain from Tuesday 27th August to Saturday 7th September and looking for a house swap with someone who lives near Peckham Rye Park. She is looking to be in a house/flat (at least two bedrooms). You could make use of her four bedroom house in San Fernando in southern Spain (just a couple of tram stops between Cadiz and Chiclana, a beautiful area) those two weeks or at another point that suited you (as it's not where she lives)... Please get in touch if you are interested and we could chat more about it... Thanks so much... Beccy
    • Just a few weeks ago the whole area was green and a joy, now it looks a wreck. As others have said, by all means have a party but don't leave the place in this state afterwards as it spoils it for others. The idea that it is just fine to subject the same area of land to this treatment summer after summer is crazy and hard to fathom.
    • Went to some great free events in Clapham Common and in Finsbury Park.  Free fireworks at Vicky Park good too. Cost of events and cuts to budgets saw an end to most of this.  Blackheath fireworks too popular.  Parks and recreation eh?  😊
