Door knocking thieves - warning

Hello

Our elderly neighbour has just been a victim of one of those door-knocking thieves

This happened at 3pm this afternoon (Friday 1st Oct)

A young (18yrs ish) irish sounding, white man asked to look at her boiler because her next door neighbours were 'doing up the kitchen'

She let him in and another man ran up the stairs and went through all her drawers etc

I don't know if they got anything as she was still very flustered when we spoke with her and only have this information

The police have been informed

This was in the East Dul Train station end of copleston/oglander road area
