After school care needed 1 - 2 days per week

Recommended Posts

We are a friendly family in Honor Oak Park looking for after school care 1 or 2 days per week for 2 kids (aged 7 and 10), term time only (you can do extra hours during school holidays if you prefer but this is not a requirement).

We are looking for someone with a fun and loving character to pick the kids up from school, get them to after school activities, play with them, co-ordinate homework and provide light evening meal (usually doesn't require cooking).

Hours are 3.15pm until 7pm (could be 6.30pm if necessary), particular days of the week and timing can be agreed.

Driving licence is a requirement (own car preferred) as you will need to be able drive to after school activities and kids are at different schools until September.

Rates depending on experience and qualifications. Will need recent CRB check and references for previous childcare experience.

Please contact me with your CV if you are interested.

Thanks.

    • Now I have heard everything…..not send your kid to a school because you don’t like the name - so to get my head around this, if school is outstanding, parents won’t send their child there because of name of school? Or have I not understood?
    • A quick Google says that it is not undersubscribed unlike many subject schools so those claims mentioned above may not be true. Last Ofsted was good.  You are definitely right about the money. This is what trusts do. Remove word ‘subject’ above Remove word ‘subject’ above I can’t edit my ridiculous errors but would like to apologise  for messy post
    • I have heard claims that people don't send their children there because of the name of the school..?  I genuinely cannot get my head around this one. The school is named after the road it is on which is named after the history of the area!  'Grove Primary School' is potentially the most boring name they could have come up with, and for a school struggling financially, is rebranding the school really the best use of funds?
    • Certainly unique, can't argue with that.
