My 20 month old was sick in the night - many times! She's not been sick since she was tiny so feel at a bit of a loss. Should I let her eat anything? If so what? Also she seems really reluctant to drink any water, should I offer juice, smoothie etc or is that a really bad idea?

Thanks in advance!

Sorry to hear this, not nice for her or you!

I would offer food and drink throughout the day - she may not want anything, but if you offer a range of things she may eat some bits and pieces. Bland foods and apple seem to be good for upset stomachs. No harm in giving her diluted juice if it means she will take on some fluid, just try to restrict her to little sips as often as possible.

Hope she feels better soon x

We had this last week with my 11 month old. She was sick for 2 days and then fine for a 2 and then sick again. I think she was sick on the second round as I had thought she was better and given her a more adventurous meal when I should have stuck to the bland stuff for a few more days. All together took about 5 days for her appetite to come back and she now seems to be making up for it by eating loads. Banana, rice cakes and apple juice worked for us. Me and my partner did feel a bit yucky but never got to the vomitting stage like her. I think it's going around.

    • Not in my bit. It's also people in vans. Though on occasion it is the PO, but not exclusively. It may be based on the size of parcel, or the number. Or possibly whether you're a Prime Customer.
    • Many of the goods available on Amazon aren't dispatched from an Amazon facility but direct from the supplier who use their own couriers which can include the post office. This is indicated in the item's information by the 'fulfilled by' information.  Amazon themselves are certainly still delivering in Dulwich. Don't want to jinx it but I'm finding RM tracked deliveries very reliable. Even DPD messed up one of my deliveries this week but all now resolved.
    • the Post office seems to be the outfit responsible for delivering stuff ordered on Amazon in the Dulwich area Is anyone finding that their parcel delivery has become more unreliable than in the past e.g. not delivered because 'you were not in' or 'returned to sender as address incorrect'?
    • We had such a problem with theft, with couriers denying responsibility and ignoring instructions not to leave things on the doorstep, that we installed a parcel safe.  It works well if people use it, but I am puzzled by the couriers that send me a photo of the packages they leave propped up against the side of the parcel safe.
