I have pair of these Merrells I bought last year. http://www.merrell.com/UK/en_GB/chameleon-shift-gore-tex/22271M.html?dwvar_22271M_color=J64971#cgid=mens-footwear-hiking&start=1. They are high spec and should be excellent for hiking and very long lasting. I've had Merrells before and they are always fantastic. They are from the Men's range but could fit either men or women.

However, I bought them in a size 7 and they seemed fine on the flat but found that during hiking they would get tight and uncomfortable at the front, making them unusable for me. So they are probably best suited to a size 6 since you need to leave a bit of room for feet to swell whilst walking. They were about ?115 new and only used twice, selling for ?50 ono. PM if you're interested, very welcome to come try them on.

    • No problem. I think it is also worth saying, in light of the recent Panorama programme, that we, at No-Flies, are completely independent and do not have referral arrangements with solicitors or surveyors. We believe that both buyers and sellers should be free to make their own choices on who they wish to instruct - though we are happy to provide recommendations and will try to warn people off firms with whom we have had previous bad experiences.
