Temporary nanny required for four weeks

We are a family based on the border of East Dulwich and Forest Hill.

We have two daughters, a five year old in school, and an almost 2 year old at home.

We currently have an amazing nanny for our youngest, but this morning she had an accident falling down the stairs at the tube station, and has unfortunately broken her wrist. This means we are now looking for a temporary nanny for 4 weeks, from Monday. The hours are 8-6 Monday - Thursday. Only looking after the two year old, as my husband and I take our other daughter to school on our way to work, and pick her up on the way home.

Many thanks

Hi my name is Vitti and I am 21 years old,

I am currently a student at the University of Manchester, however I only have coursework at the moment so am in London for the next month and am looking for temporary employment.

I have a lot of experience in childcare, ranging in children of different ages. The summer before last I was a nanny for a 2 year old year girl, my duties would include making her meals, bathing her, taking her to the park and doing swimming lessons with her. I really enjoy looking after children so would be a perfect fit for this job. I have multiple nannying references which I be would happy to give you , and also a CV which I can email you. My mobile number is 07897443324, and my email is [email protected].

Hope to hear from you soon!

    • Thank you for your explanation, which makes complete sense. Sadly I'm guessing that most of those who post on here, including me, are not familiar with the  holiday arrangements of the construction industry. Very sorry to have ventured an uninformed opinion 😀
    • I live right next to the Rye and literally never notice any negatives of Gala. Another week sounds lovely for the people that enjoy it.  Also I have a PhD in ecology and can confirm that the rye is providing virtually no environmental benefits. It's almost entirely grass.
    • Regardless of what the majority think, (although they never get a voice in any council matters) the council will go ahead with this regardless. Wonga!
    • How come you are always there when these things happen?! 🤣 More seriously, someone posted on here the other day that they are practices. Who knows?
