Shiatsu for back pain - recommendations wanted

My husband has had a bad back for several weeks now, which is normally sorted quickly by his osteopath but that hasn't helped so much this time. He'd like to try something to complement the osteopathy and shiatsu has been suggested- does anyone have recommendations of local Shiatu practitioners, or any other suggestions for something similar to Shiatsu?

His GP has put him on a long waiting list for physio and other than that will only offer pain killers, so not much help there! thanks.

I don't know any shiatsu practitioners, but I can very highly recommend Daniel Harvey at Dulwich Chiropractic Clinic (I think it's called) in Crystal Palace Road.

Daniel has many other recommendations on here.

He is my first port of call if I have a back problem.

I am sure he would very honestly say if he could help or not (though I'd be very surprised if he couldn't).

thanks, Sue. I've left a message to ask Daniel to call me to find out how similar or different chiropractic practice is from osteopathy and whether it could offer anything different. In the meantime, we're still keen to find out about shiatsu etc.
