Need advice on nurseries please!!!!

My daughter started at Goose Green nursery in September and she loves it. I have a son in year one so she was dying to join her big bro at big school. The teachers are just wonderful, she has made loads of friends and brings home lots of art work, cakes/biscuits that they have made and other "creations"! It also has a fantastic playground of its own where they are involved in lots of gardening projects. The inside space also seems pretty generous. Highly recommend.


You have probably been to one of the nursery open days but, if not,(I noticed from a brochure for the nursery that I spotted in John Allen flower shop today) they have one on the 18th October 2010 9.40-11am and on 6th December 2010 9.40-11am.

      Andy Burke Plumber  December 2025 Andy was recommended and I'm so glad he was! I generally don't like inviting strangers into my home for any reason really but when you have a repair you have no choice. Andy is a kind, very pleasant  decent guy. But most of all he's, trustworthy, very knowledgeable and extremely conscientious about his work! He wants to solve the problem for you and keep the customer happy. He was very kind to work around my schedule to sort my repairs. I live alone and I'm very comfortable in his company. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him. He's what you want in a tradesman.       I walked by Honest Burger around lunchtime today and they had just opened. They haven’t publicly promoted the opening yet because they were focusing on the building work, but the guy I spoke to was really friendly.  They’re giving away free lemonade as an opening promotion and mentioned that residents should download their app because they can get a free meal after buying a certain number of meals.  Sounds like they also do takeaway as well. I told him that Honest had been trending on the EDF, so I would post about today’s opening.

      Hello Saria, He is my cat - I live across the road from you.  Thank you for looking after him - I can assure you that he has a home, is well loved and fed despite his excellent act at appearing homeless (all a ploy to get snacks and cuddles!) Please feel free to shoo him out of the door.  He has a catflap to get back in the house, but seems unable to work out how to use it! Many thanks again, Alice
