joeplumb
Hi there,I've got a lot of extra spare bedding that I don't need any more and am looking for advice on somewhere to recycle or donate it? I've been to Sainsbury's car park on Dog Kennel Hill, ASDA on Rye Lane, Nunhead, Bellenden Road, Brokley, and on Peckam Rye Common... can't seem to find anywhere with space to take it. Seems a waste to bin it, especially with it being so cold at the moment, does anyone have any ideas? Thanks! newtothearea1
What about a dogs/cats shelter? They are always keen for blankets etc. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/137189-spare-bedding-where-to-recycle/#findComment-1089503 Share on other sites
japseylarue
Charity shops will take sheets and duvet covers in good condition and animal shelters will take them and blankets. I found it difficult to get rid of spare duvets but was told local churches would take them. Freecycle is another great option. Sue
See if charities like Shelter could make use of them, or suggest who could?I'm sure many homeless people would welcome them this weather.
