Large double with ensuite available

Hi EDF,

I'm letting out a large double room with ensuite in my five bedroom house in the North Dulwich triangle (4 minutes walk to North Dulwich Station (London Bridge) and 9 minutes walk to Herne Hill (Brixton/Victoria). The P4 (to brixton) 42 (the city)and 37 (Peckham/East Dulwich)bus stop is a one minute walk.

The room is private in the top part of the house. It is airy, quiet and comfortable. It has a large desk for those who are looking to study or bring work home with them. There's a double wardrobe and chest of drawers.

Ideally, this would suit an independent professional or mature student. (non-smoker...single occupancy only)

I would consider Monday - Friday (655pcm) or full time (775pcm) which includes all bills.

I work in the media and am also doing a masters. I have two small children (aged 6). We are a jolly lot and love taking advantage of the outdoors spaces around us - Sunray park, just a minute from the front door and Brockwell Park and lido a short walk away.

Please get in touch by PM if interested and I can send photos.

    • I know little but just to get the ball rolling: In the garden - pigeons, crows, magpies, jays, ring necked parakeets, blackbirds, swifts, wrens, robins, starlings, sparrows, great tits, gold finches and the odd bird of prey, never sure which. On the Rye have heard Song Thrush. I am sure others will add to this.
    • In spring and early summer, try a walk through Green Dale, and you should be able to see/hear chiffchaffs, whitethroats and green woodpeckers, as well as the more regular garden birds
    • I put a couple of feeders in my garden and regularly get sparrows, blue tits, great tits, robins and the odd goldfinch, coal tit and wren. Wood pigeons clean up the mess under the feeders.  We also get noisy magpies and parakeets. On rare occasions I've had a woodpecker, nuthatch and jay visit.  I also see a sparrowhawk perched in a neighbour's silver birch from time to time.  We used to get blackbirds, but unfortunately I think neighbourhood cats were the death of them    Hope this helps.
    • Crystal Palace and Sydenham Woods are both very much worth travelling up Sydenham Hill for.
