For Rent: Lovely room in friendly houseshare in East Dulwich

We have a furnished room going in our great sharing houseshare on Melbourne Grove. We are looking for someone from end March to mid April (a bit flexible).

We have a shared house account and buy and share our mainly vegetarian food together. We love veg boxes, bicycles and good music. There is a garden for growing things in spring, brunches in the South London sun and bonfires in the winter. It?s really important that we get along with whoever moves in and that he/she is happy to participate in the life of the house.

We are four at the moment, Clare (climber, foodcoop organiser), Sean (excellent cook, hill walker), Alice (moving out) and Ralph (adventure cycle tourer). Services we offer for other housemates: Ralph can build a wheel and always hunts for good bread. Clare knows all the best runs in the area, Sean makes the best ottolenghi food. We have two fluent French and somewhat fluent Spanish speakers - keen on language sharing, foreign movies :-)

The house has 4 bedrooms, a large living room, good sized kitchen and a garden (with a garage in it where we can store bicycles). The room is 510 Pounds plus about 140 for all bills and food and even Sean?s homemade marmalade.

Please get in touch if you'd like to see the room.

    • Hello.   Thanks Nigel and Hparker 😀   I've got new slots available for new students looking for a piano teacher or guitar teacher.   You could start in the new term beginning September, or I'm also available adhoc-styles through the summer holidays at times.   I teach all ages, in most styles, in lots of different ways according to how you learn/like to learn.   Give me a call or text on 07730 402336.   I have connections to lots of performance opportunities/networks too.   I run regular events /student concerts, and play in bands/perform.   Natalie.
    • So do I, but I think they are in trouble as well.  Anyway, that space wouldn't be big enough.
    • I'm not talking about Starmer. I was responding to a post which  said that  Corbyn was unelectable. How people voted in the "more hotly contested election" is irrelevant. Corbyn wasn't leading the Labour Party then. Starmer was. And the turnout for Labour reflects that.
    • Reeves says she's in charge and no no's Rayners plan, what happens now?
