Take time out to breathe, focus, and get out of your head - 5 February (Peckham) & 12 February (ED)

Recommended Posts

New workshops coming up in February in the Peckham and East Dulwich areas - a great chance to settle into the new year and:

? develop skills in grounding

? find your own strong foundation & inner resources to carry forward into daily life

? tune into subtler gut responses

? connect with physical sensations

? experiment and play

? incorporate embodiment into day to day life

This workshop is a chance to take time out of the busy rushing of the day to day. We will begin with an introduction and check-in, followed by an hour?s facilitated movement together, culminating in time to reflect. You do not need any movement experience to take part, and your movement explorations can be as functional or wild as you would like. We'll be focusing on tuning into your internal rhythms and following your intuition.

Sunday 5 February 14:30 - 16:30 @ Gaia Studio, Peckham

Sunday 12 February 11:00 - 13:00 @ Goose Green Clinic, East Dulwich

Workshops are ?30 and can be booked by emailing [email protected]. We'll be working in very small groups.

  • 3 weeks later...

There?s less than a week to go before the first Moving in the here and now workshop; if you have any questions please do post them below or drop me a line.

For those who are interested, I have adjusted the price of the workshop to ?20 as I?d love to encourage people to give something new a try - and it?s something different to look forward to for the end of the week!

    • Ah sorry, it was comedy.
    • I have never used AI in my life. It's just notes from my forthcoming monograph on light industry in Dulwich and Camberwell 1879-1946 (dates chosen for obvious reasons).
    • Thank you, this really made me chuckle. It's like you met my brother as he would be the one taking more than his share. Plus the 'pikey' chutney is a winner. Unusual as in can't be identified??? Sadly I'm not the host otherwise I would definitely do that I regularly shop in the Cheese Block and am a fan. But as people have pointed out, there is no cheese shop that charges less based on bulk, so Aldi unusual cheeses may be what the familam receive! Yay, so I can get discounted mouse nibbled cheese still! Oooo, now I do love a Stinking Bishop. It actually offends my stepmum by it's stinkiness but luckily she is not one of the attendees at this particular gathering.  This is blooming genius. It's actually my partner who has the biggest issue with buying in plastic so I will have to hide the wrappers from him!
