My name is Ally and I am a practicing Physiotherapist and Sports Massage Therapist living and working in South East London.

I utilise deep tissue/ sports massage techniques but can also incorporate acupuncture and recommend rehab specific exercises. By following a bespoke programme you'll be 'fixed' quickly!

I gained a first class degree in Physiotherapy in 2012 and an ITEC Diploma in Sports Massage Therapy with distinction. I have worked across two London NHS teaching hospitals as well as within the private sector.

I am a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists (CSP), the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC), the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (AACP) and have competed the Australian Physiotherapy & Pilates Institute (APPI) Pilates Matwork Levels 1 & 2.

I offer appointments out of my home in East Dulwich or home visits for an additional fee.

1 hour or 45 minute appointments available.

Ally came to the rescue when I was completely incapacitated through acute back pain one Sunday. She came out to see me within an hour, despite the fact her car was in the garage, and couldn't have been more helpful in easing the immediate problem and following up with a programme of treatment and exercise recommendations. Her manner throughout was cheerful, positive and professional - she is clearly highly experienced and perceptive. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending her.

Both my husband and I have seen Ally for remedial massage and can certainly recommend her. Ally helped my husband with sports massage but for me I needed massage to relieve postpartum back ache. Ally also followed-up with recommended exercises to help relieve ongoing issues. Professional and friendly, Ally provided an excellent service. Ally was responsive and arranged appointments very quickly which was greatly appreciated.

Big thumbs up for Ally, I visited her back in March when I was training for the marathon and was experiencing pain in my lower leg. She diagnosed the issue easily and explained to me in normal terms what it is, the cause and how I could work on it! She spent a long time massaging my legs and during gave me lots of ideas on how I could strengthen my legs and other sports/local clubs to try out. Overall, she gave me confidence that with some rest and strengthening I could run the marathon - I was worried I would walk away being told not to do it, but she was pragmatic and supportive (following up with me since to see how it went).

I would definitely recommend her to those even outside of East Dulwich. She made me feel comfortable and took a genuine interest. I would definitely revisit, hopefully not for a 'problem' like last time but also for a general massage for tired limbs!

I am new to the area and had recently moved house. I did my back in through lugging boxes and Ally was excellent with her approach and treatment. I have seen her a few times and would highly recommend her, she is not pushy about additional sessions when not necessary and checked in on my progress regularly.

She was a miracle worker for me and I would definitely use her again in the future!

I'll chime in with my praise of Ally too.

I've had several niggly issues (ankle and lower back)and have found Ally's holistic approach incredibly beneficial. Following up with exercises and discussing approaches to working back towards full strength so I can continue with my fitness goals. Ankle and back now pain free, I plan to use Ally for ongoing work.

And she's very easy to talk to :)

    • What was he doing on the stage at Glastonbury? Or on the stage at the other concert in Finsbury Park? Grinning like a Cheshire cat whilst pissed and stoned 20 somethings on the promise of free internet sung-- Oh Jeremy Corbyn---  What were his policies for Northern mining towns with no jobs or infrastructure? Free Internet and university places for youngsters. What were his other manifesto pledges? Why all the ambiguity over Brexit?  I didn't like Thatcher, Blair or May or Tony but I respected them as politicians because they stood by what they believed in. I respect all politicians across the board that stick to their principles. Corbyn didn't and its why he got  annihilated at the polls. A socialist, anti imperialist and anti capitalist that said he voted for an imperialist and pro capitalist cabal. He refused to say how he'd vote over and over again until the last knockings. He did so to appease the Islington elite and middle class students he was courting. The same people that were screaming that Brexit was racist. At the same time the EU were holding black and Asian immigrants in refugee camps overseas but not a word on that! Corbyn created and courted a student union protest movement that screamed at and shouted down anyone not on the left . They claimed Starmer and the centre right of labour were tories. He didn't get elected  because he, his movement and policies were unelectable, twice. He turned out not to have the convictions of his politics and died on his own sword.    Reform won't win an election. All the idiots that voted for them to keep out Labour actually enabled Labour. They'll be back voting tory next time.    Farage wouldn't be able to make his millions if he was in power. He's a very devious shyster but I very much doubt he'd actually want the responsibility that governance requires.
    • The purge of hard left members that were part of Corbyn's, Mcdonnel's and Lansmans momentum that purged the party of right wing and centrist members. That's politics. It's what Blair did to win, its what Starmer had to do to win. This country doesn't vote in extreme left or right governments. That's partly why Corbyn lost  We're pretty much a centrist bunch.  It doesn't make it false either. It's an opinion based on the voting patterns, demography and statistics. Can you explain then why former mining constituencies that despise the tories voted for them or abstained rather than vote for Corbyns Labour?  What is the truth then? But he never got elected!!! Why? He should have been binned off there and then. Why he was allowed to hang about is an outrage. I hold him party responsible for the shit show that we've had to endure since.
    • Depends on what the Barista says doesnt it? There was no physical confrontation with the driver, OP thinks she is being targetted when she isnt. These guys work min wage under strict schedules so give them a break unless they damage your stuff
    • CPR Dave, attendance records are available on Southwark's website. Maggie Browning has attended 100% of meetings. Jon Hartley has attended 65%.
