Hello,

I have a lovely double bedroom available in a 3 bedroom Victorian house in East Dulwich which has just been refurbished to a high standard. The room includes a comfy double bed and built in wardrobes. More photos available on request.

Monthly rent is ?1200 + bills (?150)

There are two bathrooms, underfloor heating, a modern kitchen with all the mod-cons (dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, induction hob, microwave, wine cooler), open plan living room/dining room and plenty of natural light. A cleaner also comes once a fortnight.

The house is situated within a 5 minute walk to Lordship Lane and a 5 minute walk to the nearest bus stop which takes you to either Peckham Rye or Denmark Hill train stations.

I'm looking for a fun, friendly and considerate professional female to take the room. You will be sharing the house with just me so it will be a nice, peaceful place to live. I'm a down to earth, fun, friendly female in my early 30's. I work in the legal IT sector in the city. I enjoy exploring London, nature, going to gigs/cinema and music amongst other things.

If you're interested then I would love to hear from you! Send me a message with a little bit about yourself, what you do, hobbies etc.

The room is available immediately but the move in date can be flexible for the right person. Contract is on a 3-6 month rolling basis.

Cheers

Arani

    • Hi everyone, My pet cat, Nido, is lost. He’s a British Shorthair, grey / blue and is an indoor cat. We just moved into the area (East Dulwich, Lordship Lane, near local Sainsbury’s) and had some contractors come do some work in the house. They either left the door or window open and our cat managed to escape. He is absolutely precious and is likely to be scared. Please reach out to 07519665507 if you happen to see him.   Many thanks, Aqsa
    • ❤️❤️❤️ They are my favourite birds! I had never seen any round here before, then I suddenly spotted some in a tree across the  road when I was walking down East Dulwich Grove. I got talking to a passer by as I was gawking at them, and she said they were often around  there. I think she said that a man in a nearby flat fed them, but I may have misremembered that. A cat with a bell comes and sits very still next to  my bird feeders. Once he is there, you can't hear the bell. I don't know whether the birds can still sense that he is there, as I chase him away whenever I see him. I get loads of other cats without bells, who also sit very still waiting for birds 😢 I do like cats, but there is definitely an issue with them and birds. But it's nature, I suppose. The only bird I've definitely seen killed in my garden was a starling, carried off howling piteously  by a bird of prey. I've never seen a starling in the garden since. I used to get loads, years ago.
    • If it is a camper van that could explain it  moving around and being hard to locate.
    • I dunno. "Facts " like you can get to Crystal Palace and Sydenham Woods via Sydenham Hill?
