To achieve high grades in GCSE English Language and Literature, students need to learn to read actively, spotting nuances and implied meaning in a wide range of texts. They must also learn how to craft their writing, consciously selecting the right tools to write for different target audiences. For optimum success at GCSE these skills need to be in place by the end of Year 9. I can help your child develop them and use them with confidence. I have 12 Years of teaching experience in top schools and in my final year of full-time teaching in 2015, my GCSE class achieved 50% A* and 50% A grades. I also have five years of experience as a Head of Drama so can help with GCSE and A Level Drama and Theatre Studies well as preparing monologues for auditions.
