Hi all. Does anyone live on or close to Crawthrew Grove? I am looking at moving into the area and would appreciate any comments on the area or this road in particular. I noticed there was some building work on the corner of Crawthew Road and a pretty uninspiring block on flats close to Crawthrew and Lordship. Hows the area in general? Thanks

There's a huge great thread on Train cancellations and delays

here somewhere :)

Thameslink OK but usually late, Southern awful, Overground not too bad.

If you're on foot, Peckham Rye is a similar distance (without that bloody hill), and you have the added bonus of the Southern trains, just in case one actually turns up.

    • Hello.   Thanks Nigel and Hparker 😀   I've got new slots available for new students looking for a piano teacher or guitar teacher.   You could start in the new term beginning September, or I'm also available adhoc-styles through the summer holidays at times.   I teach all ages, in most styles, in lots of different ways according to how you learn/like to learn.   Give me a call or text on 07730 402336.   I have connections to lots of performance opportunities/networks too.   I run regular events /student concerts, and play in bands/perform.   Natalie.
    • So do I, but I think they are in trouble as well.  Anyway, that space wouldn't be big enough.
    • I'm not talking about Starmer. I was responding to a post which  said that  Corbyn was unelectable. How people voted in the "more hotly contested election" is irrelevant. Corbyn wasn't leading the Labour Party then. Starmer was. And the turnout for Labour reflects that.
