ecfc29
Hi all. Does anyone live on or close to Crawthrew Grove? I am looking at moving into the area and would appreciate any comments on the area or this road in particular. I noticed there was some building work on the corner of Crawthew Road and a pretty uninspiring block on flats close to Crawthrew and Lordship. Hows the area in general? Thanks Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/138396-crawthew-grove/ Share on other sites
Lynne
No down points that I know of. A typical ED road, fairly quiet, parking can be difficult, handy for shops/station. ecfc29
Thanks for your reply. How is it taking the train from ED station? Southern are a nightmare surely. craigyboy71
The best bet is to get trains from Peckham Rye or Denmark Hill as there is far more choice and you are not limited to Southern trains! healey
Lovely street in a very popular area. Skid row it is not! Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/138396-crawthew-grove/#findComment-1093005 Share on other sites
Lynne
Worlingham Rd, is, of course, far the better choice Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/138396-crawthew-grove/#findComment-1093018 Share on other sites

Jeremy
Good area. But if you were planning on commuting into central London from ED station, then you're in for a world of stress. Forest Hill, Herne Hill, Peckham Rye, etc may be better options. Nigello
ED station is not great but a walk or bus (or walk and bus combo) to Denmark Hill may be a better option.
