I have done it in the past once or twice. I spent literally 3 days ironing, folding, labeling and bagging to get there and see everything slung everywhere (I stuck to the about 8 page rule book). If I remember rightly you get 80% of your money if you sell but don't volunteer at the event and 90% if you do volunteer. Will find you details of who to contact and get back to you!

Hi there Molly. I'm the web editor for the local NCT site. You can find lots more info out from the pages under the general one snowboarder mentioned above:

How to sell: http://www.nct.org.uk/in-your-area/Brixton/events/slnnssell

You might want to try other local branches - Lewisham etc to see if they have sales sooner.

    • @NewWave I know how you feel. Like you, I've lived and spent prolonged periods of time in some pretty crazy places and always thought I could handle a bunch of kids. But, no - they got to me and I was shaking like a leaf afterwards. That's what age does to us.  But I did engage with them, so bear that in mind.  My advice would be to never let anything like that stop you doing the things you love. I'm certainly not going to stop using the park, there's no way they get to take away our cherished spaces!  If you see them, just change tack and keep out of their way. My dog won't even go that way again, so that's that problem solved. (If I see them again, I'm going to keep taking photos from a safe distance).
    • Truly horrific. Being passive or fighting back is what many of us think about by violent theft.
    • What ridiculous waste of money
    • Lots of good primary schools within reach of there. Fairlawn, Goodrich, Ivydale and Horiman. Secondary schools you will definitely get into the Harris Academies or Sydenham Girls or Forest Hill Boys, you might just be on the boundary for the East Dulwich or North Dulwich Charter but it changes every year.
