Alan Medic
Someone has asked me to find out if a charge a supplier is passing on to them is legit. He transfers Euros from a Euro Zone country to a NatWest UK Euro account. The recipient says he is charged a fee. The Ulster Bank (part of the same group) says he shouldn't be, but I suspect there is probably a transaction fee if the money is going to a business account. I can't find anything online. Does anyone know? Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/141640-uk-euro-bank-ac-charges/ Share on other sites
sheff
You'll often find that you end up with the Euro's less say 10 as a charge.Sometimes it is a charge at the senders end, and they haven't checked the box accepting all charges. Loz
If you are doing it reasonably regularly, you are mad using standard banking. They're notoriously bad value.
