littlep
Hey,Just been following this thread and I was hoping to ask a question to anyone who has used a van at the RRC. The permit asks to bring a driving license and 2 forms of proof of address. My driving license has my old address (still in Southwark) so just wondering if anyone has encountered a problem with this? Would rather find out now than when I arrive at the RRC.Thanks in advance :) Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/143843-van-bookings-at-the-reuse-and-recyling-centre/page/2/#findComment-1126495 Share on other sites
fredatkinson
Hey Littlep,I can't answer definitely, but when I showed up, the guy there seemed most concerned about just making sure I had the permit. There wasn't like a full ID check or anything. I'm sure if you've got a photo ID with an address in Southwark, as well as some other form of proof of address, you'll be absolutely fine. Hope that helps! Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/143843-van-bookings-at-the-reuse-and-recyling-centre/page/2/#findComment-1126500 Share on other sites

alex_b
Having an out of date address on a drivers licence carries a ?1000 penalty, so it's a good idea to get it updated. However, the guys checking paperwork at the RRC seem to only be interested in checking you have a Southwark postcode and always seem very reasonable.
