1 Bedroom Flat needed

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

Looking for a 1 (or 2) bedroom flat to let around the Denmark Hill or East Dulwich area.

Our current landlord is selling his flat, so unfortunately my girlfriend and I need to find a new home before the 15th April. At the moment, we're paying ?1250 pcm.

We're both in our late 20's, have full time jobs in Central London, and have the majority of our own furniture.

We've rented directly with landlords/owners in the area for the past couple of years, and can provide any necessary references.

Thanks so much, and please do get in touch if you have anything along these lines available!

Hi Sam and Hannah

We have a 2 bed maisonette available form 21st March. It's at the top of Peckham Rye, 10 minutes walk from Peckham Rye station. It's in a small block and is on the top two floors. It has amazing views over London, just like you can see from Frank's Bar. It has two balconies. My husband and I are local architects and have completely refurbished it. We are asking ?1400 a month for it.

If you are interested, please feel free to call me on 07961104955

Best wishes

Jaqui

    • @NewWave I know how you feel. Like you, I've lived and spent prolonged periods of time in some pretty crazy places and always thought I could handle a bunch of kids. But, no - they got to me and I was shaking like a leaf afterwards. That's what age does to us.  But I did engage with them, so bear that in mind.  My advice would be to never let anything like that stop you doing the things you love. I'm certainly not going to stop using the park, there's no way they get to take away our cherished spaces!  If you see them, just change tack and keep out of their way. My dog won't even go that way again, so that's that problem solved. (If I see them again, I'm going to keep taking photos from a safe distance).
    • Truly horrific. Being passive or fighting back is what many of us think about by violent theft.
    • What ridiculous waste of money
    • Lots of good primary schools within reach of there. Fairlawn, Goodrich, Ivydale and Horiman. Secondary schools you will definitely get into the Harris Academies or Sydenham Girls or Forest Hill Boys, you might just be on the boundary for the East Dulwich or North Dulwich Charter but it changes every year.
