*UPDATE* Marley has been found! Was trapped in a neighbour's shed but is now back home and acting like nothing happened! Thank you to everyone who kept their eyes peeled, grateful we got a happy ending. L

Hi everyone,

My cat went missing from our front garden near Crofton Park station yesterday (28th February) and I'm desperately trying to find her. We only moved into the area around a month ago so she may be lost and unable to find her way home.

Her name is Marley, she's a domestic short haired tortoiseshell (black and red), has yellow/pale green eyes, is quite small but a bit chubby and doesn't wear a collar. She's very shy so my worry is that if she's stuck somewhere she won't meow.

If anyone sees/finds her please get in touch - my number is 07825913686. I would be more than happy to provide a reward as to me she is priceless.

Thanks, L

    • My daughter lost an earring possibly under the bridge at Herne Hill while cycling on Saturday evening towards Loughborough Junction. It has great sentimental value. If anyone has found it please get in contact. Thank you Don
    • The problem is not generally with the stores or drivers - who generally are doing the best they can and receive peanuts for each package. (Rumored that Evri will pay only 20-30p to a shop that receives/sends a parcel). The problem is the business model of these courier companies that do not invest in infrastructure or depots, but just outsource everything and set "contractor" drivers impossible targets. https://www.theguardian.com/business/2019/dec/08/christmas-parcel-delivery-drivers-driven-to-the-edge
    • I don’t think that this is a Barry’s-specific issue in the area. I’m constantly having parcels refused for delivery at the InPost lockers outside the Family Store on Upland as well as at the Esso garage by the Rye
    • I was several miles away and I didn't miss it, as apparently didn't lots of others also several miles away. But as I and others reported although we guessed it was fireworks it sounded more like the WWI front line, albeit from a distance!Β
