Last night from 9pm we were performing some routine upgrading work on the forum's server and it took a bit longer than expected. It should have taken an hour but due to an admittedly nerve-racking glitch it took four hours, so sorry that the forum was unavailable for all that time. Fortunately the issue has been resolved and we're back up as normal.

      Azalea, it is Hair & Beauty at 79 Dartmouth Road, Forest Hill. Next door to the Alex TLC charity shop and opposite side to Forest Hill pools. The salon used to be further up the road towards FH station but moved to current location a few years ago. Closed on Mondays and Sundays.       I'm still unclear, are we talking about wood pigeons or the descended rock doves (the Trafalgar Square pigeons). I hear wood pigeons a lot and one pair has nested in my garden this year, but I rarely see rock doves at all, and haven't for many years.
