PLEASE READ ON ...

As mentioned in our last newsletter, two independent researchers, Fay Hield (yes, that one) and Thomas Graves will be coming along to see what we do and to record some songs on Sunday.

DON'T WORRY! The recordings are only for research purposes, and won't be published anywhere. If you don't want your song to be recorded, you can just make a note on the sign-up sheet and they will turn off their devices.

Fay and Thomas have promised that they won't get in the way during the actual Singaround, but they are both asking for volunteers to answer some questions at other times. Fay's research is for a book she is writing, and Thomas's research is for a project as part of his MA in ethnomusicology at the University of London.

If you are interested in sharing your experiences of singing (or listening) please read on....

Fay would like to chat to a small group of 6 - 8 people about what it's like to sing at the Goose, before the Singaround on Sunday. If you are interested in taking part and are able to arrive early, please contact her for more information on [email protected]

Thomas would like to talk to people about their experience of singarounds and singing practice. He can arrange interviews any time before 15 March. Thomas' contact details are [email protected] or 07985 117 113

    • The OP might have found the ‘Creative Trump’ protests entertaining but I found them very disrespectful to our late and great Queen Elizabeth who was interred at Windsor Castle 3 years ago.  They would have had more impact on projecting the images at Chequers today.
