Hi

I may have been conned by 'palacehero', called James Varcoe.

If I'm wrong I will retract, but I wanted to raise awareness in case I'm right.

I had a poor experience with him last year.

He did one job for me & it seemed fine & was really convenient with when I was able to be at home, so was happy to have him do another, larger job.

He & his mate came & went during the two days, I assumed they were doing another job nearby, at the end of two days (estimated 1 & 1/2) they'd made a fair bit of a mess, but left the job half done. promising to come back the next day. I moved work commitments & they never turned up, kept promising they would for the next couple of days.

Foolishly I had given him most of the money up front.

Lesson learned, always get reviews from other people on here before engaging someone.

I too have had issues with James Varcoe. Do not use. Rob or Hannah did he ever give you a quote with his address on it. if you please could you PM me with it as i want to confirm this the same person or i will retract
