Nanny copying my ad.

Dear parents. It has just come to my attention that someone by the name of tiffanyg has copied my ad almost word for word.

Now this has made me very cross for multiple reasons. But mainly because the ad itself describes me and only me as I wrote the ad to describe me and no one else. It is something I wrote to show my skills and my personality to prospective employers.

I am not sure if tiffanyg likes arts and crafts or is confident implementing routines or does accents and voices when reading books. However I know I do as the ad was intended to describe me at work.

I wrote this ad many years ago (which I can prove)

Please be sure to check people's references and qualifications thoroughly as you can never be to sure how far people will go these days.

Please see my ad below.

I am a British Nanny with 14 years childcare experience, 10 years as a sole charge nanny, an NVQ Level 3 in Early Years Childcare and Education, Current Pediatric 1st aid, full clean UK drivers license and own car, Clean DBS check and excellent contactable references.

I have experience with New born - 17 year olds, Live in, Live out, Overseas and numerous Nanny shares.

I am 30, fun, energetic, enthusiastic and love to play, cuddle, teach, sing, dance, read (with different accents and voices of course) and much much more, always happy to stay late and do overtime (agreed in advance). I am very happy to do child related house work and babysitting. I am also a very confident and healthy cook.

I am highly experienced in implementing routines, weaning, potty training, preparing children for nursery and so on. I also help older children with their daily homework.

Some of my favourite activities with children include baking, any sort of arts and crafts, swimming, running around at the park, visiting zoo's and farms and play groups and having new adventures. I currently take the children to monkey music, swimming lessons and playball weekly.

My current job of 3 years is ending mid April when the youngest starts nursery.

    • Who was Diana Rayworth, when 'resting from acting'. Her successful career was very sadly cut short following a devastating accident.
    • thanks Jenijenjen and all - yes, i remember walking or taking the bus from the elephant (where i was working) to Camberwell to get there.  I think Tim - who's still at Franklin's -  was there in those days, and the woman who ran the cafe!  Other food places that i remember fondly are the ones in Neal's Yard (with the Hunkin sculpture that you could put a coin in ) and the basement lunch place at the Tottenham Court Road junction with Hanway Street...
    • Did you try the emergency number posted above? It mentions lift breakdowns over the festive period outside the advertised  times. Hope you got it sorted x
    • People working in shops should not be "attempting to do the bill in their head." Nor if questioned should they be  trying to "get to an agreeable number." They should be actually (not trying to) getting to the correct number. I'm afraid in many cases it is clearly more than incorrect arithmetic. One New Year's Eve in a restaurant (not in East Dulwich but quite near it) two of us were charged for thirty poppadoms. We were quite merry when the bill came, but not so merry as to not notice something amiss. Unfortunately we have had similar things happen in a well established East Dulwich restaurant we no longer use. There is also a shop in East Dulwich which is open late at night. It used not to display prices on its goods (that may have changed). On querying the bill, we several times found a mistake had been made. Once we were charged twice for the same goods. There is a limit to how many times you can accept a "mistake".  There is also a limit to how many times you can accept the "friendly" sweet talking after it.
