We are 2 East Dulwich based women who have recently taken the plunge, leaving secure jobs and embarking on new self-employed careers. As new start ups we have limited resources and are learning as we go but have recognised some key gaps in our skills and experience. Rather than pay we thought we would give the idea of a skills swap a go!

More about us and what we are looking for & can offer:

Ally is a practicing Physiotherapist and Sports Massage Therapist living and working in East Dulwich fixeastdulwich.com. She is currently writing a range of children's books. She is looking for some advice in developing her publishing strategy and insight into the industry. Are you in children's publishing and able to help? in return Ally can offer a (or series of) free 45 minute sports massage (dependent on level of support offered). References are available on request.

Geri has over 15 years experience managing change and consulting across the public sector and not for profits. Last year she qualified as an Executive Coach and is based in East Dulwich. This year is a year of transition for Geri as she focuses on developing a new client base. She is looking for some advice on website design and marketing herself using social media. Can you help? In return Geri can offer four free monthly one hour coaching sessions (or a number dependent on level of support offered). References are available on request.

If this sounds like something you would be interested in, please PM for a chat

I can help with what you want but not interested in swapping what you want to get for something that I don't ..

Therefore if you are looking to use sources others than a massage then I'm happy to help

    • In answer to your question Pugwash, the variety of foods that they offer both in canned goods and fresh. i personally no longer am a Sainsbury customer after years - feel that the quality of both their fruit, veg and fresh products ie meat, chicken, fish is not of a quality that they use to be. Agree with Sue that Co- Op does not make for a pleasant shopping experience.  On the subject of Waitrose not coming to ED - one can only assume that market research has been done by the company which makes it a non starter which, when you think about it is strange as all the big contenders are here.. Perhaps the powers to be have never heard of ED!! Maybe a Lidl or Aldi will rear their heads but somehow can’t see it as space is way to small. Really is strange that Waitrose is a non arrival - never ceases to amaze me how many eateries are in Lordship Lane alone and the majority all survive.
    • What is it that makes Waitrose so special! Admittedly I have shopped a couple of times in the Orpington and Beckenham one - sometimes buying food which I cannot get else where. Their 'basic range' is not bad. Price for price and quality - M & S.
    • Sometimes a shed or other installation has to have written approval from the freeholder i.e. Southwark, Southwark has (or did have) a Leaseholder Association.   Could also come under Anti Social Behaviour Unit.
