Nigel

Recommended Posts

A very attractive decorative Edwardian upholstered walnut tub chair.

This lovely tub chair, with turned spindles and original casters, has been re-upholstered in a later but sympathetic velveteen fabric. The chair is very comfortable to sit in and is in good condition.

Dimensions

Height = 71cm (28") Width = 63 cm (25") Depth = 61 cm (24") . This antique was produced in the Edwardian period (1850-1910). The Edwardian era covers the brief reign of King Edward VII, 1901 to 1910.

    • Hi, does anyone have their up to date number please?
    • I imagine Franco Manca's business dropped off quite a bit when Yard Sale opened (though isn't Yard Sale delivery only?) But in any case, both of those are chains.
    • Thanks. I'll call them shortly as I could get there without the car.  That's good of Sainsburys! We've done the apple pie and tart thing, an ongoing muesli thing and the coleslaw thing - just not sure what effect all the sugars are having on our digestive tracts.  If we were in Somerset and had a press, I'd consider it. Can't be that diffcult, can it?
    • One time Sainsbury's delivered 6 bags of apples instead of 6 single apples which I couldn't possibly get through. I phoned Pecan in Peckham to ask if they would accept them despite their website stating no fresh foods. I must have phoned at just the right time as they were happy to accept them. Sainsburys gave me a refund so the donation was courtesy of them. Or you could experiment with all kinds of apple recipes and write a blog about it
