for sale: BeSafe iZi Comfort X3 ISOfix - Extended Rear Facing car seat (can be forward facing too)

Recommended Posts

We purchased our Be Safe iZi Comfort X3 from the ERF car seat guru herself, Margaret Rose Bolt in January 2015 for ?330.

The car seat is in excellent condition. It has only ever been used in my car. It was fitted by Margaret and it's been checked by Margaret Rose Bolt regularly from Jan 2015 until only a few weeks ago.

Car seat has never been involved in any accidents whatsoever.

Our daughter is just over 18 kilos now so it's time to sell this one and pop the money together for her next stage seat.

The BeSafe iZi Comfort X3 ISOfix is simple to install, provides very good protection and is suitable from 9 months to 4 years old.

There is no minimum weight for REAR-facing so basically, as soon as your baby is tall enough to fit the lowest harness height and as soon as your baby can comfortably hold his head up, he/she can start using; sometimes this can be from 4 months or 7 months, depending on the baby.

This is NOT from birth, however!!

The weight is 0-18 kilos rear facing (but not from birth).

For forward facing, however, it is 9 kilos minimum.

There is more info below, as well as lots of photos.

Pick up is Barnmead Road, Beckenham, BR3 1JE.

THANK YOU x

MORE INFO:

"The seat can be installed with Isofix anchor points for a safe and secure fit. Don't worry if your car does not have Isofix, the seat can also be installed with the 3-point belt if you have an additional car without ISOfix.

The seat provides excellent side impact protection for the head and body as it is padded on the inside with impact-absorbing material.

An integrated safety leg provides good stability and better protection as the forces in a collision are distributed down to the floor of the car.

The easily adjustable integrated headrest and harness grow with your child to their correct height with 1 operation in 8 positions, offering the very best protection at every stage of their development.

The multiple recline positions allow for a comfortable sleeping position on those longer journeys, while the softly padded cover and ventilation system ensure maximum comfort at all times.

Your child will also be comfortable in the seat and with a higher seat than normal they will be able to see everything out of the window just like mummy and daddy!

Magnetic harness retainers and a one-pull 5-point harness make securing little one completely hassle free. The covers are removable and can be machine-washed to keep them looking in tip top condition.

    • The current wave of xenophobia is due to powerful/influential people stirring up hatred.  It;'s what happened in the past, think 1930s Germany.  It seems to be even easier now as so many get their information from social media, whether it is right or wrong.  The media seeking so called balance will bring some nutter on, they don't then bring a nutter on to counteract that. They now seem to turn to Reform at the first opportunity. So your life is 'shite', let;s blame someone else.  Whilst sounding a bit like a Tory, taking some ownership/personal responsibility would be a start.  There are some situations where that may be more challenging, in deindustrialised 'left behind' wasteland we can't all get on our bikes and find work.  But I loathe how it is now popular to blame those of us from relatively modest backgrounds, like me, who did see education and knowledge as a way to self improve. Now we are seen by some as smug liberals......
    • Kwik Fit buggered up an A/C leak diagnosis for me (saying there wasn't one, when there was) and sold a regas. The vehicle had to be taken to an A/C specialist for condensor replacement and a further regas. Not impressed.
    • Yes, these are all good points. I agree with you, that division has led us down dangerous paths in the past. And I deplore any kind of racism (as I think you probably know).  But I feel that a lot of the current wave of xenophobia we're witnessing is actually more about a general malaise and discontent. I know non-white people around here who are surprisingly vocal about immigrants - legal or otherwise. I think this feeling transcends skin colour for a lot of people and isn't as simple as, say, the Jew hatred of the 1930s or the Irish and Black racism that we saw laterally. I think people feel ignored and looked down upon.  What you don't realise, Sephiroth, is that I actually agree with a lot of what you're saying. I just think that looking down on people because of their voting history and opinions is self-defeating. And that's where Labour's getting it wrong and Reform is reaping the rewards.
    • @Sephiroth you made some interesting points on the economy, on the Lammy thread. Thought it worth broadening the discussion. Reeves (irrespective of her financial competence) clearly was too downbeat on things when Labour came into power. But could there have been more honesty on the liklihood of taxes going up (which they have done, and will do in any case due to the freezing of personal allowances).  It may have been a silly commitment not to do this, but were you damned if you do and damned if you don't?
