Ice on junction of Oglander and Adys Roads impossible to drive down there!

It is like sheet ice at the junction of Oglander and Adys Roads. We live opposite and have watched car after car get stuck in wheel spins or just slide down and a couple of parked cars have been dented in the process. My husband has just gone out to help push a couple of cars along. If at all possible just avoid driving down there!

Is there a salt bin anywhere near?

If there is, it probably hasn't been refilled since the last round of snow (see my comments on James Barber's thread).

I've never noticed one but if there is I don't have a shovel!
