Looking for a term time childminder in Brixton/Herne Hill/Tl/Gipsy Hill/

Recommended Posts

Hello Netmums,

We are looking for a full time childminder in Brixton, Herne Hill, Gipsy Hill, Tulse Hill or surrounding areas for term time only.

We would love someone experienced, who is happy to take our baby to play centres/classes and provide a stimulating environment.

As I am a teacher we are looking for a term time only childminder, so this arrangement could suit someone with their own children perhaps.

I will be going back to work full time in September, however I will be going into work for 3 days a week for 3 weeks in July, if September is possible but not July then we can be flexible. We would be happy to pay for some time in August too to slowly introduce our little girl into the new setting. She is currently 6 months old.

We are quite flexible with the daily hours too. We would generally like 8am until 5pm, however I would like to get out of work early a couple times a week to spend more time with her.

If you think that we would be a good match please get in touch, or if you can recommend a childminder that would be great.

Many thanks,

Kate

    • Hello! We are relocating abroad and so will be withdrawing our two children (ages 4 and 6) from St Dunstan’s College (Catford). If any family is considering enrolling children of a similar age, now would be an excellent opportunity—we’re required to pay full‑term fees unless the places are taken. Please get in touch if you’re interested or know someone who might be. Thank you!
    • Hi  I really thought I'd seen a more recent post on the forum about home education meet ups. I can't find it though. • Thanks for your reply. I’ve subscribed to Ancestry a few times in the past but felt I wasn’t using it enough to warrant keeping up the subscription.
    • Hi, I saw your post and just wanted to say that the incident you’re referring to did happen in the late 1980s at Dawson’s Heights. The person involved was named Carl Salawa, and he had just turned 18 years old at the time. Like you, I haven’t been able to find any news articles or official reports about it, If anyone remembers anything more about that time or incident, I’d really appreciate hearing about it. Thanks for sharing what you were told—it means a lot to know others remember.
