We bought a lovely red Tripp Trapp for Baby Knomester in the end and I'm really pleased so far. We did buy the cushions for the baby attachment and still need to wedge him in with things, but that probably has a lot to do with the fact that he's a thin baby and not really interested in sitting up yet! I can see that they'll probably end up spending more time in the wash than on the chair once he gets cracking on feeding himself!
Ooh, I think I'm the friend Knomester is talking about! Yes, you can use normal toddler reins instead of the pricey alternative. Get them in Mothercare or online for a couple of quid. I didn't need anything for my daughter who never tried to get out of the chair but my son was an early escape artist! He's grown out of it at 14 months so I don't need to use the reins any more. So all in all, don't bother with the expensive straps!

    • The residents & families of the estate are getting parking fines,  out of the blue , the residents parking system waa changed from Southern to Sippi with cameras put up in the car park and people issued with fines entering the estate for more then 10 minutes , families can no longer pick up or drop off family due to a new 10 minute wait fine. Residents are appealing with Sippi and Southern as there was no letters to consult of a parking change,  new waiting times or fines, delivery drivers are getting fines everyday,  if you get a fine,  appeal it, there is no signage up to say about parking fines or waiting time

    • How very dare you. Rest assured, if it were intended to be comedy, it would have been funny.
    • I hadn't looked at the actual posts on Instagram. That's sad, then. The shop opening hours are still shown at the top of the page. I  guess changing them wasn't uppermost in her mind under the circumstances.
