Who Makes Your Clothes? Fashion Revolution at Fashion-Conscience, SE22 8EF

This week marks the anniversary of the Rana Plaza factory collapse in April 2013 in India where 1,138 people were killed and many more injured. From this disaster Fashion Revolution was born.

Fashion Revolution is a global movement calling for greater transparency, sustainability and ethics in the fashion industry.

We are so proud to have been selling ethically sourced and made clothes and gifts for over 10 years online and here in East Dulwich for almost 5 years, with more than 30 ethical brands. Show your support for the movement, the brands and the makers.

To tempt you we have new-in ethically made floral print dresses and separates perfect for occasions as well as new sandals, organic scarves, beauty and much more.

Open from 10am every day.

    • @Cyclemonkey  I get where you’re coming from, but I just don’t see this fixing anything.. It’ll just make whoever’s living there now a bit poorer, while the real issue gets ignored. In ED over the last 20 years, loads of pretty average terraces have gone up £500k–£1m without anyone doing anything. If we actually want to deal with unearned housing wealth, scrapping the CGT free pass on the main home would make a lot more sense (or at least cap it ...like in many countries)
    • People pay a lot of tax. By 2031, this will be the highest tax paid ever. Coupled with the fact that the amount of debt we have and the amount we pay for that debt is also at an all time high, you can possibly understand why people are against paying more tax
    • It may be true of 19th Century foundations - which I think is what Dulwich College was, but it certainly doesn't reflect all public schools, and certainly not in the mid to late 20th century. Certainly all schools go through problem times (and not just public schools) - but the generalities being quoted here are misplaced. Dulwich College does appear to have had its own, very specific, problems.
    • That's ........ an opinion I guess.
