Pizza Pick up Peckham

I don't usually like pizza in U.K. But two Italian friends recommended this place. It was amazing. Thin crusts but tasty and gorgeous and toppings very generous. Finished with an affogatto and a grappa. Amazing and personal service and lovely ambiance. Family has Roman heritage and pizza as nice as you'd get in Rome. Highly recommended. Young people working very hard to provide a wonderful experience in our neck of the woods. And do ask them about the history of their wood-fired ovens. It's fascinating.

We like it. It's basic... nothing trendy or remarkable, but the pizzas taste good and the staff are (is?) welcoming. One thing we noticed is that the tomato sauce has a really intense, sweet tomatoey flavour. Crispy bases make a change from the seemingly ubiquitous chewy sourdough.
