Solar panels.

We're having a new roof put on, so considering solar panels as part of the work. Anyone had them installed? I'd be keen to hear your experiences / how much you save / reputable companies, etc

We've got them. It depends on many things , such as -

what your water consumption is - I feel now there's just two of us, we don't use that much and ours panels sometimes over heat our tank.

How long you intend to stay in your house so will you get your money back and will they be an asset to future buyers.

We had Solar Fusion, a bit mixed. If you're thinking about it,bargain with the companies. There seems to be a lot of "flexibility" in their pricing
