Charity Shops?

I've had a huge spring clean & have numerous bags of clothes, shoes, bags, towels that I'd like to donate to a charity shop or to a homeless shelter. Can anyone give advice on the best way to do this? Do I just take them to a charity or is it best to take them along to a shelter? Thanking you in advance for your advice

Do you have particular fondness/penchant for a specific cause helenblack? I'd start there and see what is convenient for you

Vets sometimes have a use for old towels (not that I'm implying yours are old , Helenblack)

Kings A & E used to accept donations of good quality clothes i.e. trousers, tops, shoes as patients often have to have clothes cut off them in A & E. Also many homeless people used to turn up in accidents with poor/ripped clothes etc.

Suggest you get in touch with Kings Volunteer Group who may be able to direct you to the appropriate section

Animal rescue places like Celia Hammond could use towels.

There's also the refugee/asylum seeker place at the top of Barry Rd.
