post office - cash pay in

Could anyone enlighten me as to whether I can deposit cash into my current account at the LL post office? I bank with Nationwide. Thanks!!!

I bank with First Direct and can pay cash into the post office.

It was not easy as they did not seem to know the correct process so it all took much longer than it should have done :(
