This might seem like a silly question but I have been invited for dinner at the Oxo tower and I'm not sure what the dresscode is like. Ie if you have to dress smart/elegant?

Never been turned away for being scruffy and believe me I do not dress up at all.

Most people dress up there cos they feel they have to which is fair enough I guess, so assume it IS smart elegant and you won't feel intimidated. Funny how the waiting staff can have attitude like they are the celebrities there !

cheyanne are you having dinner at the brasserie or the restaurant? The Brasserie is very relaxed re dress code and the restaurant tends to be a bit smarter.

It's not that smart. No formal dress code in restaurant or brasserie though I've not often seen girls in jeans, if that helps. Smart casual would be about right.

Be daring, buy some killa Louboutins and go in nothing but them. Tell them you're meeting Spencer Tunic for a special project. ;-) Or that you're expecting Dita dahling to arrive any moment. B)

A friend of mine took his secretary up the Oxo tower, his wife wasn't best pleased as she'd never been taken up the Oxo tower before

I've heard its quite hard to get up the oxo tower, but once you're up there and settled in, you can feel quite comfortable.

Somehow I have a beef with the Oxo tower, something I should take stock of.

The restaurant is pretty smart but they'll let you in with jeans. Try their Blueberry Champagne cocktails they're very good!
