If you're an allotment gardener, have a dog with tired legs, need to carry a ton of library books or want to do your weekly shop without driving the car, this bike's for you. Built like a tank, rides like a dream! I've taken my children to school in the basket. Alas they're just a bit too big now so this super steed is looking for a new home.

Frame will fit inside leg 28" upwards.

The bike is classic in looks but was built only 10 years ago - has really robust and reliable Sturmy Archer 3 speed hub gears with plenty of torque for getting up hills, albeit slowly. But it can thunder along alright on the flat! Very strong hub brakes to deal with downhills.

For most of the last six it has lived mainly indoors so is in really good condition.

Sell new for ?1000. This is a snip at ?190.

Hello, silly question, but as it looks quite hight, do you think a woman can ride i without problem?

Hi Carolina - Slightly evasive answer: depends on how tall the woman is! In the picture the saddle is set for my wife who's admittedly quite tall at 5'10", but there's a good amount of room for lowering it.
