Cheapest way to call Dubai?

I have to interview someone there - from my landline probably to their (UK) mobile - anyone know cheapest way - is it those phone cards or other?

A phone card or a cheap international dial-up service or you could call from one of the Internet cafes in Rye Lane that offer cheap international calls.

if you are in the uk dialling a uk mobile the fact that they are in dubai shouldn't cost you any more (it'll cost them though i think) - might be cheapest to call from your mobile?

Try telediscount.co.uk - no cards or accounts to set up. They are showing 15p a minute at the moment, but the cost can vary depending on the time of day.

Really the most practical option for cheap 'mobile' costs is that they buy a local sim card.

The massive cost will be carried by the recipient as a UK roaming fee. If they buy a local sim the charge to them for receiving the call will be zero, and you'll only pay the cheapest international rate that's available.
