Looking for full time nanny or Nannyshare from August /sept- Herne Hill

Recommended Posts

We are a family with two boys, aged 4 and 20 months, who live in Herne Hill. We currently share a wonderful nanny but she is sadly staying on with the other family who are moving out of London in August. So we are looking for a nanny from 6th August or start of September (we can be flexible).

We live on Herne Hill road right by Ruskin Park.

HOURS:

In term time the hours would be 8:30-6:30 on Mondays and 11-6:30 Tuesday-Fridays. In the school holidays the hours would be 8:30-6:30 Monday to Friday.

Our 4 year old will be starting at Bessemer Grange primary school in September, and our youngest son will be starting at a nursery very close to our house, 9am-12pm Tuesday - Fridays(I'd be happy to average out the salary so there's not a salary drop in term time).

Our boys are active and love being outside, kicking a football in the garden or playing in the playground. We currently have a share with two boys aged 5 and 3, and it works really well as the boys have other children to play with every day after nursery.

In termtime our 20 month old will need collecting at 12pm then he'll have lunch and a sleep at home. Our four year old will need collecting at Bessemer Grange at 3.15pm.

In holiday time the eldest will need picking up from one of a couple of local activity clubs at midday / end of the day.

My husband works in financial services in the City and I am a freelance television producer. We spend lots of time in parks at weekends and seeing other friends with children.

We would be interested in a sole charge nanny or a share if the nanny was happy to do so. Our 4 year old does activity clubs during holidays so a share would mean the nanny only has our eldest son from 3-6:30 for the majority of the time.

I'd be looking for a nanny who has good UK references, a CRB check and preferably their own car. Ofsted registration isn't essential.

We are keen to find a nanny who will stay with us for a while and who can really become a part of the children's lives.

Please get in touch if interested.

Thanks,

Lulu

    • Dishing the dirt is generally fine when it comes to politicians and in Farage's case he often deserves it but  nothing illegal  has been done. It is not illegal for him to give his partner a sizeable amount of money with which to buy a house and have it registered in her name. He is 64 years old and his partner is 16 years younger and so he most likely is making plans to minimise IHT. There is a sliding scale for IHT but basically a gift is free of IHT if the gift is made 7 years before the donor dies. Farage is 64 years old and his partner is 16 years younger. In 7 years time, if he lives that long, he will be 71 years old. Given that he smokes like a chimney and drinks like a fish, his odds on getting beyond 71  years may be pretty slim.  A similar  process is followed by the "bank of mum and dad"  where parents  give money to their kids to fund purchase of a property. Many who are not cash rich will mortgage their home and so release equity to fund their kids property. We did it as have many of our friends.
