Wonderful nanny available Thursday & Friday from August

Recommended Posts

We are moving out of london and so saying goodbye to our nanny of 6.5 years. She's got a new family mon-wed but is looking for Thursday and Friday's.

She is ofsted registered, first aid qualified etc and has 25+ years childcare experience, 10+ as a nanny. She also has a drivers licence and drives our car as and when required. We work long hours and she's always been very flexible.

We think she's amazing (hence being with her for so long), our kids are 7 and 5 now. She's dealt with medical needs (asthma, skin conditions and food allergies), as well as teaching the kids to swim. She no nonsense, fun, firm and fair and they love her! She's had two days off sick in 6.5 years. I can't recommend her highly enough and would be happy to provide phone reference or more info as required.

She would be open to a share (we've had a couple) and number of children, possibly also just one of the days. Rate depends on how many kids and their age.

She was also my children's nanny for years and I agree with everything written above, she is an incredible nanny and my children adored her! She has exactly the right balance of being fun but firm if needed and I had 100% confidence in leaving my children with her. She also had my children wolfing down meals they wouldn't even have agreed to try at home with gusto?.she just has the magic touch!

    • Be thankful for the NHS. This is the price to treat a dog or cat. Imagine what it might be to treat a human being with cancer

    • I don't know how it works now but my late parents had little money when they were retired (just state pension and they rented their flat) and they used to take their cat to the Blue Cross (In Victoria if I remember correctly) where treatment was free for those who could'nt afford a private vet. I sincerely hope similar is available still because for many elderly their pet is their main source of comfort and company.

If you just say , “no, I think it’s x” they start again and get to an agreeable number, or find a calculator. I don’t think it’s a malicious attempt to swindle people. Just not great arithmetic.
