PeckhamRose
Not true.Sorry.They did change the rules to allow traffic warden scum to lift up the cover so they can see your licence plate. Not exactly sure what the wording is of the law and can't be arsed to check.ortmann80 Wrote:-------------------------------------------------------> It is illegal to have your bike on the path but if> you do, put a cover over it as traffic wardens are> not allowed to remove it in any way or form. ianr
You want more info? Just heard a piece in the World Service Science in Action prog, about an all-electric m/c; 11kWh battery capacity, 184 bhp, from memory (might be wrong) -- it's said to have the power/weight ratio of a petrol-driven 600cc bike -- that got third place in a time trial or summat at a California track. PeckhamRose
Some people still can't get over the fact there are 850cc scooters on the road but Piaggio built such weirdnesses years ago. It's sooooo wrong! Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/15218-motorbike-knocked-over/page/2/#findComment-401090 Share on other sites
Clare11
scooters???OH those really annoying things that zip in and out of traffic? 850cc? Well I wouldn't like to see someone in their work clothes come off on of those!Mind you, the scooters in Rome were virtually family size.
